About Me

Hey, you there! Come closer. I’ve got news! Are you looking for a pair of all-stars to join your home team?  Look no further than us – Wrigley (that’s me!) and my pal Fenway. We might be named after ballparks in two very different cities, but we fit together like a baseball and glove. Where I go, Fenway follows. And vice versa.

We’re just under 4 tears old and are one of several bonded pairs with CBHR, and we would sure love to find our new forever home. We are beagles, but CBHR thought we have lots of potential and voted us in. I mean, what’s not to like? Oh, in case you’re wondering, I’m the boy with the mostly tan head.

We are great snuggle buddies, and Foster Dad says we are perfect pups for a family that enjoys lots of activities. We love to play with toys, and our favorite game is watching our foster people pick up and put away all our toys and then we pull them back out again. Such fun!

We are housetrained and like to ride in the car. We aren’t fans of sudden loud noises (who is, after all?). We sleep soundly through the night in our kennel, though.

Let me tell you about my favorite pastime: I love to watch TV and am very entertained by the programming around here. I’m a bit more cautious around new people than Fenway – but not aggressive. I’m not a snob; I just need time to warm up.

We are very good boys, and our fosters are surprised we haven’t had someone come and adopt us. We have great house manners – we hardly even bark, and that’s pretty good self-control for a hound dog.

We like to cuddle together in our crates when it’s naptime or bedtime, and we don’t get into too much mischief, although Foster Mom says I’m always up for a good bit of harmless fun. However, I respond very well when redirected from something I’m not supposed to be doing.

We have been diagnosed with diabetes insipdous – not like the high-sugar diabetes; this one just makes us have to pee more. But we are on inexpensive medication and it is under control! But our ideal family would be one where someone is home most of the time, like a retired couple or someone who works from home. Did I mention that we love attention?

We spend a lot of time paying. Our foster parents take us and our canine foster brothers to doggie daycare, and we love it! We come home exhausted after romping and playing with the many friends we have made there. And guess what? We get along well with cats, too!

I love food! I am not food-aggressive but I do shove Fenway away from his bowl sometimes. I’m a hungry guy!

We love getting attention from the people, and we are very happy snuggling with them or with each other most of the time. We do get the zoomies about once a day for 20 minutes or so – sometimes you’ve just got to release that restless energy!

We are really looking forward to meeting our forever family. If you’re looking to round out your team, contact CBHR to learn more about us. When you decide Fenway and Wrigley are the right dogs for you, it will be like winning the World Series!
