About Me

Are you looking for a pair of all-stars to join your home team?  Look no further than us – Wrigley (that’s me!) and my pal Fenway. We might be named after ballparks in two very different cities, but we are a matched set if there ever was one. Where I go, Fenway follows. And vice versa.

We are one of several bonded pairs who have come to CBHR recently, and we would sure love to find our forever home. We are more beagle than basset, but CBHR thought we have lots of potential!

We are great snuggle buddies, and Foster Dad says we are perfect pups for a family that enjoys lots of activities. We love to play with toys, and our favorite game is watching our foster people pick up and put away all our toys and then we pull them back out again. Such fun!

We are housetrained and like to ride in the car. We are frightened by sudden loud noises (aren’t we all?) and sometimes bark when we are in our crates if we hear something, but we are really good dogs. We sleep soundly through the night in our kennel, though.

Let me tell you about my very favorite pastime: I love to watch TV and am highly entertained by the programming around here. Fenway is a little more reserved than I am, but we both are cautious – but not aggressive – when meeting new people. We just need time to warm up.

A note: We have been diagnosed with diabetes and are on medication to control it. But the diabetes makes our bladders fill up fast, so our fosters let us sleep with belly bands so we don’t have an accident. During the day we are OK if someone is home to let us out often, so a retired couple or someone who works from home is preferred.

We spend a lot of time paying. Our foster parents take us and our canine foster brothers to doggie daycare, and we love it! We come home exhausted after romping and playing with the many friends we have made there.

I am what my fosters call “mischievous.” I think that means I love to have fun and play doggie pranks once in a while. However, I respond very well when redirected from something I’m not supposed to be doing.

I love food! I am not food-aggressive but I do shove Fenway away from his bowl sometimes. I’m a hungry guy! We are not lap dogs, but we do like to get attention. Fenway is really starting to love cuddling with Foster Dad!

If you are looking for a fine pair of hounds, please contact CBHR. When you decide Fenway and Wrigley are the right dogs for you, you will have won the World Series!  We are the sweetest!
