*Woofie has found his Forever Home 2.0!*
They call me Woofie, and if you love a lapful of basset hound, I’m your man! I’m back with CBHR after my adopter from a couple of years ago could no longer care for me. I’m a sweet boy who just loves – demands – attention. I can’t help myself – I just love the people!
My foster family says I’m simply adorable, but I will need firm, gentle guidance to help me unlearn some of my impolite habits. As I mentioned, I crave attention from humans, and sometimes I just overdo it. I insist on staying close by and jump in laps uninvited sometimes.
I also am having some difficulty adjusting to housetraining right now, but I am working on it. I also love to counter surf and will gobble up any groceries left out, and – ahem – I sometimes chew on things that don’t belong to me. But I am such a sweet dude that a little patience and training will surely help me be the best basset boy I can be.
I’m not aggressive, and I promise I will show you lots and lots of love.
I have some skin problems and flea allergies, so I will need medication and special food to take care of that.
