About Me

Psst, I don’t like to make a splash, but let me introduce myself. My name is Vienna, and I’m an introverted young Southern lady who still has a lot of puppy in me. I’m about 3 years old, and I am busy adjusting to my foster home. I’m a very shy girl with separation anxiety. My fosters are working to reassure me that they are coming back when they leave.

I’m coming around because I really like hanging out with them. Foster Mom says my whining is already improving a lot. She leaves me out of my crate except when I’m in the car, and I do just fine. I’m not destructive. My favorite chew toy helps comfort me also. I’m timid and submissive, but I’m slowly coming out of my shell, thanks to my patient fosters. I had some skin problems coming in, but those are clearing up nicely.

I do love to run and play. I get along with my fosters’ other dogs, but I do get a bit scared if they are too rambunctious. I am housetrained and walk politely on a leash. And as shy as I am, I do really well in crowds. I get along with men and women, but I haven’t been observed with children and might be kind of nervous around them.

If all goes well, I hope my fosters will adopt me. They like me a lot! Keep checking back to check my progress and see if I join the ranks of Happy Hounds! Until then, I’ll be working on my confidence and having lots of fun. This is Vienna, signing off!
