Hi! They call me Stormie, and I’ll bet you can guess why! That’s right – my face and head are black like those thunderclouds that most of us houndies don’t like. Don’t let that fool you, though. I am one sweet girl who will cling like Velcro to my people.
Foster Mom says I’m a pretty good houseguest. I’m working on potty training, but I let Foster Mom know when I need to go outside. I do well on a leash and like the car. I’m a little timid meeting new people, but once I get to know them, I like to snuggle up with them or follow them around.
As you see, I’m a great almost-3-year-old girl, and I already have a prospective adopter. But keep checking the CBHR website. Sometimes adoptions don’t work out for whatever reason, and sadly, we get in lots of new houndies every month.
This year has been a very busy year for CBHR. They’ve taken in a lot of dogs – owner turn-ins, strays and shelter drop-offs. Some of the dogs need more training and patience than others, and some are senior dogs who often get passed over. But we all long to find our forever family. Keep checking back for updates on me and the other hounds!
