Squirt

I am Squirt! I am a beagle mix (maybe basset or some other low rider) that was found on the side of the road in the upstate of SC, left for dead.  After a night of intensive care at a local shelter, I was taken into CBHR for emergency care and to keep me safely out of the shelter environment.  After a rough first few days, I made an incredible recovery to become the bouncy puppy I should be.

I’m a very smart little guy, currently fostering in a home with 5 other dogs.   I have a great appetite and am doing very well with house training.   I sleep in an xpen, go to bed around 8 pm and quietly wait for my family to wake up around 7 am.

I LOVE to play with the other dogs.  I have no fear, and am like a toddler who thinks I’m one of the big kids when around older siblings.

Though I am not a basset hound, I am very much a beloved member of CBHR for life and we are looking for a special home who will be thrilled to welcome me.  I am teething like mad and love to be with other dogs.  If you have another dog please be sure your dog is ready for a rambunctious puppy who wants to play.  If you have kids be sure you are aware of how to keep kids away from teething puppies as everything is fair game.
