*Snuffles has been adopted!*
I’m a sweet girl name Snuffles, and I am a typical basset – strong-willed and a bit stubborn. But let me re-emphasize how sweet I am. I’m about 18 months old, and my foster family plans to adopt me, but let me tell you more about me.
I am still trying to learn some good houndie manners and get out of my puppy stage, so I have a few rough edges. I get so excited to see people that I jump on them to say hi, and I will bound out the door in heartbeat if you’re not watching.
My puppy desire to chew is still with me as well. I tend to pull on my leash when I am out for walkies, but I’m great in the car and in my crate.
I have a mind of my own and am happy being by myself or playing with the other dog in the house – we get along great. CBHR fosters really work hard to bring out the best in us bassets. Some of us come from some tough situations and need lots and lots of love and patience.
It looks like I’m going to get my happy ever after, but there are a lot of other bassets on this site who just need someone willing to give them the time and attention they need to bring out their best basset selves.
