*Savannah and Cleveland have found their forever home!*
Hi, y’all! I am Savannah, and I am a little under 7 years old. I came to CBHR with my good buddy Cleveland – we are one of several CBHR bonded pairs who need to be adopted together.
Our foster mom says we are a delightful pair and have so far not shown any aggression issues or serious behavior problems. I love, love people and am the extrovert of the duo, while Cleveland is more laid back. We do love to play with each other, though.
Being a proper Southern lady, I happily take baths to keep me fresh and clean. Neither Clevland nor I are sensitive about being touched around our ears or feet, which some bassets don’t like. We are both housetrained and are generally polite guests.
I’m more active than Cleveland, but we both move pretty well and don’t seem to have mobility problems. We like our groceries but have not shown any food aggression while we are eating. (Cleveland will happily gobble up other dogs’ food, though.) I do tend to chase squirrels, so we might not be a good fit for a family with cats.
Our previous owner’s personal situation changed, so he couldn’t keep us, but we would really love to meet our forever family. CBHR has its hands full with new bassets coming in seemingly every week, but they always look for just the right family for each foster hound.
