Hi there! They call me Sassy, and boy, does that name fit! I am definitely one sassy basset, but I am also lovable and adorable. I come to you from my new forever home, where I will soon be an official member of the pack!
I’m a strong girl, but I also really love being around people. For some reason, I didn’t connect with my first foster family, but my new fosters flipped over me and want to adopt! I’m so excited.
Hey, I’m not perfect. Leash manners are a work in progress, and I have that basset stubbornness. But I am working on all that. I really love to run and play – I have lots and lots of energy!
And when I get attached to someone, I stick to them like Velcro.
I’d like to ask a favor: There are some houndies here who deserve a good home, but for some reason they are still with CBHR. Some are older dogs – seniors need love too. Some have quirks or behavior issues, but CBHR diligently works with them to help each basset become the best version of themselves.
