About Me
Hi, everyone! My name is Sadie of Salisbury – a name CBHR gave me to distinguish me from another Sadie in the rescue pack. I’m a little over 2 years old, and I just love to cuddle with my foster mom.
This won’t be a long bio, because FM fell in love with me and wants to keep me as her forever pal, but I wanted to let you know a little about me. I’m a bit shy around strangers, but once I get to know you, I warm up. One of my favorite spots is Foster Mom’s lap!
I need some medication to calm my anxiety when I go to the vet, but it seems to be working just fine. I am good in cars and walk politely on the leash. When I ride, I prefer to ride shotgun, right up front with my foster.
Once I am acquainted with a person, I get along well with older children and adults Because I’m a bit skittish, smaller kiddos might spook me. I love to play with the other dog in the house, and I am reliably housetrained.
I’m so excited that my foster wants to adopt me – Did you know that CBHR fosters have first priority on the wait list? They are always in need of volunteers willing to serve as fosters, so if you might want to help a hound find that special home, contact CBHR and inquire. And keep an eye out for new additions, because sadly, we get a lot of bassets who are picked up as strays or need to be rehomed.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have some cuddling to do! Sadie out!
