About Me
*Roo has been adopted!*
They call me Roo, but no one would ever mistake me for a kangaroo – I’m a basset hound. I adore people, but sometimes it takes me a while to warm up to new folks I meet. Not to worry, I always am up for a good snuggle.
I am a very smart houndie, and I can use the doggie door all by myself. As a younger hound – I’m 2 – I still have some puppy in me and love to chew things, even things I’m not supposed to be gnawing on. I do like my toys, but those squeakers scare the bejeebers out of me.
I have some separation anxiety when my fosters leave, but I am happy to sleep in my crate at night. It’s my safe spot.
And guess what? I am about to be adopted! I’m happy I found my forever family so quickly, but please take a look at some of my basset friends. A few of them have been here a while. Some of them are not as young as me, and some have had their share of challenges, but we all want the same thing: a family who loves us and who we can love forever.
Contact CBHR to learn more about our adoptable bassets! I’m Roo, and I have to scoot.
