About Me

*Remy crossed the Rainbow Bridge on September 8, 2024. He is now pain-free and romping with his bonded pal Alex. Fly free, Remy!*

Hi there! I’m Remy, and I am very sad because my best buddy Alex crossed the bridge on June 3, 2024, after getting too sick to recover. We came to CBHR together, and I miss him so much because we were tightly bonded. It was a revelation to get to a place where we enjoyed a routine, loving attention and the medical care we needed.

I have been neutered and got my teeth cleaned and taken care of. I am happy to report that I am now reliably housetrained.

I am not food-aggressive, but I sure love my groceries! I am not crated and am on my behavior when Foster Mom leaves me alone. I had a tumor, but not cancerous, and I am still on hold while my medical issues get sorted out.

I’m a pretty chill guy but a little hesitant around new people. But I do love hanging out with my foster mom.

I have learned to walk on a leash and get along great with people and other dogs. I don’t know about those creatures they call cats, though. I haven’t had occasion to meet one since I got to CBHR.

Keep checking back on me. I sure would like to meet my forever family. In the meantime, please let CBHR know if I or any of mt fellow bassets catch your eye or touch your heart. We all want a forever home!

Tell them Remy sent you. Run free at the Bridge, Alex, my friend. Remy out!
