About Me
*Pumpkin has been adopted!*
They call me Pumpkin, and I am a sweet 7-year-old girl. I love to be near my foster parents, who are planning to adopt me. In fact, I really hate it when they leave me in my crate downstairs – I whine and howl – so they brought my crate to their room for now.
I enjoy hanging out with the other dog in the house, and even though my canine foster sibling is bigger, I hold my own.
I’m housetrained and behave will in cars and in crowds. I walk politely on my leash and enjoy a leisurely stroll. Although I’m a senior girl, I am very agile and negotiate stairs just fine.
I haven’t been tested around children, but I like the bigger humans. I’m very friendly and happy just to be loved and to give love right back.
We have had a flood of bassets recently, and some aren’t quite ready to meet their forever families, so please keep checking this website because the perfect basset might be waiting for you!
Meanwhile, I need to go find my fosters and get a good belly rub!
