Hello, beautiful humans! I’m Murphy a 4-year-old basset boy who loves going places in the car – and I want to ride with the windows down, thank you very much. I adore squeaky toys, going for long walks and stretching out on the sofa.
My foster mom says I’m settling in just fine. She’s worried about me because I’m a bit skinny at 50 pounds, and she thinks I should put on a little weight. I am a bit of a picky eater, and I am not a fan of taking my meds – Foster Mom said she’s even tried cheese, peanut butter and scraps of pork chops to convince me to gobble my meds! She thinks I am still trying to figure out where I fit in, and she’sworking to help me gain an appetite.
She’s such a wonderful foster, and she says I’m a real sweetheart. That makes me so happy, because I came in from a shelter. I know I am living the good life now, and I just know I will make someone a trusty companion.
