Y’all, they call me Modean, because it sure sounds like a great name for a Southern girl like me. I’m a young pup and one of three young bassets who came to CBHR together. I’m an energetic sweetheart and I do love to have fun!
Since I’m so young, I’m just learning all the ins and outs of proper household etiquette, but I am a fast learner. I can be stubborn (I’m a basset hound, after all), and sometimes I just like to lay around. But I’m super friendly and generally have no bad qualities. Any rough edges can be smoothed over with gentle guidance.
I’m a little spooked by loud noises, but overall, I am doing very well in my foster home. And they are so smitten with me that they want to adopt me!
You know, there are a lot of bassets on this site who might not be young like me, but they also need loving homes. Some need a very special person or family to help them thrive and bring out their very best, but they all deserve a good home.
CBHR works very hard to make the best possible matches between dogs and adopters, because their goal is a permanent bond. Have a look around! Mabye there’s a hound here for you!
