About Me
I am Miss Merry! My foster mom says I am a sweet hound who have some recovery to do.
I am slowly becoming more accustomed and comfortable in my surroundings, but I still am easily startled. Some of this is because of my poor hearing and eyesight – abrupt moves tend to frighten me. I have some difficulty moving quickly enough to avoid peeing in the house, so I need to be taken out frequently. Otherwise I have good mobility, can manage stairs, but am a bit insecure coming down them. I like people and will follow my people around the house. I do well with the other multiple size and breed dogs in the home. I am a very quiet hound and have not made any verbal noise (bark, whine, howl). My recovery will be slow so I need someone willing to work with me and be patient.
