Hi, I’m MayBelle, an athletically built old lady who is as sweet as they come.
My foster parents tell me I am so gentle that I am perfect for a home with anyone. I’m great with other dogs as I live with 6 other hounds and get along with every one. I’m a little timid and hand shy and my foster dad thinks I was smacked about the head a lot but I’ve gotten much better with head pets. I really like them. I’ve got a couple of medical issues including high blood pressure but medication has fixed me right up. I also have a total ear canal ablation in my right ear, so it’s best to talk to me from my left side.
I love using a doggie door and taking walks but I get really scared if I’m left all alone, so I’d love to find a home with someone that works from home or is retired and has another dog or two. My foster parents said to tell you that if you pass me by, you are missing out on a great family member. Can’t wait to meet my new family and find my furever home.
