About Me
Well, hi there! Marco’s my name and I’m looking for my forever home. I’m one of three basset hounds rescued from a breeding situation, so I’ve spent most of my life outdoors. I am sure liking this indoor gig, though!
Did I mention that I am a puppy? CBHR doesn’t get many of those these days, so I’m looking forward to all the attention I’ll be getting.
I’m a good boy and love to play with the other basset in the house, Frank. He and I love to go ok walks together, and I’m very good on the leash. I’m still learning about this housetraining thing, but now that I am neutered, I hope to pick it up quickly.
I’m an agile guy, as my foster people found out when she left me in a room guarded by a baby gate. When my fosters got home from dinner, Frank and I greeted them at the door. I had jumped over the gate – it was still in place.
As I noted, I am enjoying the great indoors, and I am curious about all the things the people have. If I see something interesting, I will pick it up and carry it around like I just won a prize.
I would prefer a household where someone is home most of the time, because I get lonely and have some separation anxiety. But Frank keeps me company, and I love having another dog friend to hang out with when I find my forever family.
Could that be you? I’m not quite ready to be adopted yet, but I will be soon! In the meantime, if you want to learn more about me, just contact CBHR and tell them Marco sent you!
