About Me
Hi, there! My name’s Mambo and I’m a 2-year-old boy who craves attention and belly rubs, and I’m a really sweet guy. I also love going on walks and exploring all the sights and smells outside, although I really tug at the leash.
I’m still a young guy, but my fosters have been teaching me how to have good manners and not get into mischief. I’m still a work in progress, but I am working hard to be my best basset self.
I really hate being left alone, so my foster mom thinks I would do best in a household where someone is home most of the time. I don’t like being crated, but when my foster family went out recently, they left me alone with music (I prefer smooth jazz) and lights on, and when they got home, I was quiet and calm.
I had a really good romp at the dog park recently, and made a number of new canine friends. I played hard but wasn’t aggressive. What I really want is a family that can be with me most of the time and that loves me and lets me get plenty of exercise.
