About Me
I am Lucy Lou, and I’m one happy hound dog, because I am in my forever home! I am a sweet, fun-loving young girl who has a mischievous streak – I like to steal shoes. But I’m totally lovable, as are many of the other bassets on this site, and I don’t destroy what I steal. It’s all a game to me!
Playtime is so much fun for me, but I also like to stop and rest once in while. I have so much fun playing with the other dog in my house. I do listen well and respond appropriately when Mom tells me no.
I do have my quirks. I am a bit submissive and can be timid, especially when Dad is dressed in his finest duds. I’m not sure why that is, but I know now that he is always going to be gentle with me.
Anyway, tell all your friends about CBHR. They rescue bassets like me, and they run entirely on the generosity of donors. Tell your friends that Lucy Lou sent you!
