Hi, y’all! They call me Lucy Goosey – so as not to confuse me with another Lucy in CBHR’s care. I’m a senior lady, not quite 11 years old, and I am friendly, sweet and very active. I’m getting some medical attention now because I have had some masses removed – I’m so glad they are gone!
We ladies get some cysts as we age, but my medical care hasn’t impeded my love of a good romp. I’m not happy if other dogs look too lovingly at my chew toys, but I’m really a very loving girl.
I don’t get along with cats, though, and my previous fosters thought I probably would do best in a home without kids, but I’ve surprised everyone. I get along well with my new foster family’s small children, as well as their beagle.
I do like attention, and I probably would be well suited in a household where I am the only dog. But keep checking back, because I’m new around here. If you’re interested in an energetic older hound, contact CBHR and ask for me, Lucy Goosey!
