About Me
*Lucille has been adopted!*
Hi! I’m Lucille, and I’m a CBHR veteran. I was adopted a while back, but things have changed in my life and I came back here because CBHR never abandons a hound that has been part of our rescue. Sometimes, an adopter’s needs or situation changes, and CBHR knows it’s not the houndies’ fault.
In my case, I landed right in the home of someone who wants to help me have my Happily Ever After 2.0 and I am on a home trial! I’m a generally sweet girl, about 6 years old, and I am so excited that I will have another place to call home and a family to love. I used to have resource guarding issues, particularly around other dogs, but my adoptive family thinks I’m just ideal.
I all goes well, I will be joining the Happy Hounds who have found their forever homes. We all just want someone to love and someone who will love us right back. If you see an irresistible basset faces on this site, contact CBHR to find out more about them. Our volunteer adoption coordinators are very helpful and are honest about any quirks we might have.
Our goal is to match the right dog to the right family. As for me, Lucille, I’ll be lounging in my new home and living the good life!
