About Me
*Lucie has been adopted!*
Hi there! My name is Lucie – with an “i” and an “e” so as not to get me confused with another CBHR foster hound named Lucy. I’m a friendly girl who gets along with just about everyone – even the cats! I’m looking for an active family that can take me out several times a day so I can get out all my puppy energy! I also need another dog in the house because I’m rarin’ to go!
I’m just a young girl, not even a year old, and I am adjusting very well to my new environment. My foster mom is teaching me household manners, although as a pup, I still forget sometimes. But don’t you worry – I’m a smart young lady and super sociable. As I said, I have a lot of spunk, and I still haven’t learned not to jump on people, so I would not be a good fit for a family with young children.
I follow my nose right to the counter if there is food on it and will snatch it right away, but I’m learning I need to have better indoor decorum. I also get separation anxiety because I am so fond of hanging with the people. I’m still working on my housetraining, but with my excellent foster family, I am sure I’ll get the hang of that soon too! Some things just take time, and I need a patient family who is willing to work with me on my manners.
Overall, I’m a happy, fun-loving houndie who will be a good pet. If you would like to learn more about me, just contact CBHR and ask about Lucie!
