About Me
My name is Loretta, and I’m a 6-year-old lady who is getting settled in with my foster family. I’m adjusting well, and my foster dads describe me as good-natured. I also have a playful streak – a game of catch is my favorite!
When I’m happy, you’ll know it, because I have my own “happy dance,” and I even smile! I obey verbal commands and respond to my name, which is pretty great, if you ask me. She is a reluctant around new people, but warms up after a few minutes. They indicate she has so
I have a few challenges. I am reluctant around crowds and new people, but I tend to warm up after a few minutes as long as you’re patient with me. I’m not aggressive over food, but I am a bit competitive, so feeding me separately from any other dogs in the house is a good idea. I do get along with the other dogs, though.
I also walk well on a leash, but my foster dads think I was left outside all the time because I look longingly at the outdoors. They list me as a potential escape artist because of my curiosity, so you’ll have to watch me around open doors. They also suggest a harness for my walks.
My potty manners are pretty good – I’ve had a couple of accidents as I adjusted to new surroundings, but I am a smart girl and I do go to the door when I need to go.
Bottom line: I would be a great pet for the right family, and I will do my happy dance if you pick me. For more information about me, contact CBHR and ask for Loretta!
