About Me
They call me Lex, but I am most definitely a female basset hound. I’m almost 8 years old and recently came to CBHR when my owner’s circumstances changed. I was being fostered with some other dogs, but my new foster parent believes I would do best as an only dog.
I like being the center of attention and will give you lots of love if you do the same for me. Right now, I’m trying to get adjusted to living in a nice home and am trying to learn some basic commands, as I apparently haven’t had that kind of training. I am housetrained, though!
I’m not a fan of the car and want to be in your lap, so I will need a good crate or harness for riding. I also have a bit of arthritis, so I don’t move as fast as some of those young-uns.
I’m still getting used to things around here, and my foster dad has really become attached to me. Keep checking back, and please have a look at some of the other fine bassets here. We are all eager to meet our forever families!
