About Me
Hello! I am Lady, and I fit my name nicely! I’m a sweet 6-year-old girl who came to CBHR with my brother and best pal, Brutus, when our previous family had some unfortunate changes in their lives.
My foster family says I am an impeccable houseguest and listen pretty well. I am also housetrained. I love to play with Brutus and get pretty rambunctious, but then I calm down and chill out.
I have some medical issues – I have some allergies and need to take some medication before I get my shots, or my face and throat swell up. I also had to have my right eye removed because of sudden-onset high pressure, but I get around OK, and I have Brutus to help me out if I need it.
You can see in one of my photos that I’m a one-eyed hound, but I am still beautiful!
We both get along well with adults and other dogs, but we would do better in a cat-free home because we like to chase the felines – although we have never hurt one. We don’t have a lot of experience with children or crowds.
