Greetings! I’m a senior basset hound, but they call me Junior. Go figure. But hey, I am young at heart!
My foster mom says I’m a sweet old man, but I do have some health issues that CBHR is helping me address. She says I’m adorable, by the way. I enjoy getting all sorts of attention and being spoiled. Because who doesn’t, am I right?
My favorite time of day is when Foster Mom kisses me goodnight. My tail just won’t stop wagging! As an older dude, I have some aches and pains, and some wonky joints. But don’t you worry, Foster Mom gives me some meds that really help.
I am also on a special diet so I can be as healthy as possible because I am a bit on the chonky side. My foster mom’s other dog is still trying to get used to me, but she will come around because I am just one sweet guy.
And guess what? My foster mom has a passion for senior dogs and wants to adopt me! I feel so lucky! We have some other dogs here who are still searching for their forever families, so have a look here.
