Greetings, basset fans! My name is Joey, and I’m a 4-year-old boy who just loves people. I am cuddly and affectionate, and my foster people say I am an outstanding dog. What a great thing to be!
I’m a smart boy and a quick learner, but I do want to be the alpha dog, and I am very aggressive around food, so it might be better if I am an only dog. I’m being fed separately from my foster siblings to prevent any incidents.
However, my fosters think I will be a good pup once I learn my boundaries a little better. I don’t pull or tug on my leash, and I am housetrained. (I told you I’m smart!) I sleep on the floor beside my fosters’ bed because I love being close to the people.
