Hello! I’m Hunter, and I’m a happy-go-lucky kind of guy. I’m a young dude, about 18 months old, and I have a lot of energy. I am really enjoying being in a home with lots of dogs – we have all become fast friends. There are also some cats here, but I haven’t met them yet.
One of my first days in my foster home, I got invited to brunch and had a great time. I especially enjoyed all the kids that were there. I did great for my bath, but I don’t like being restrained like I have to be when I go to the vet.
My foster people are working with the vet and a trainer to help me feel less anxious, and I am sure I’ll get to that point. In the meantime, I have some meds that help me relax at the vet.
I am good in the car and on my leash, and I do well in crowds. I’m housetrained, so I’m low maintenance. I am good in my crate, too! Generally get along well with everyone, although I haven’t met any babies yet.
