Good day, humans! They call me Hopper, but don’t confuse me with a bunny rabbit. Sure, my ears are kinda long, but the resemblance stops there. I’m a handsome hound dog about 5 years old, which means I’m seasoned but still plenty active.
My foster mom says I’m a sweet guy who just needs a loving and patient home. I love everyone and everything, and I have lots of energy. I get along great with the other dog in the house, and I love to lie on top of my fellow dog when I’m napping. Foster Mom thinks it’s hilarious that I snore.
She also laughs at me when I go outside and bark at the ground. I’m a scent hound, and I know there’s something down there, so I just have to bark.
Although I am not crazy about walking on a leash, Foster Mom is working with me so I can get the hang of it. Likewise, I’m not excited about going to my crate, but if you tempt me with a treat, I go in without complaint.
Speaking of treats, I really love food, but I am polite and don’t try to take anyone else’s dinner. See, I was found wandering in a rural area, so I was pretty hungry when the people found me.
