About Me
Hello, CBHR! My name is Greyson, and I am looking for a very special home. I’m a sweet and generally obedient houndie, but I need a forever family who can meet me where I am on my emotional journey.
Foster Mom says I’m a smart guy who can follow verbal commands, and I do love to be around people. I’m not much bothered by the household cat, but my foster mom thinks I would do best in a home where I am the only dog. While I do like to play with other dogs on occasion, I am also territorial about what I deem “my space” or my people. I will growl and snap at other dogs and even the cat if they invade my safe space.
For this reason, I should also be in a home without young children. But if you pick me and I am your only dog, you can count on me being a fun-loving, happy guy. I’m just 3 years old and have oodles of energy, and I love walks, so think of me as your personal exercise plan. Dog parks may not be a great setting for me because of my territorial tendencies, but I love me some fresh air and abundant scents to sniff.
I confess that I have terrible separation anxiety, probably because I am used to being in a home where people were around most of the time. If you work from home, that’s ideal for me – I can be your trusty office assistant. That way, we can both stretch our legs and get a little exercise at breaks!
Please don’t make me sleep away from you. I will whine and cry because I need to be around people – I am a real cuddlebug. As long as I am in the same room with you, I will snooze contently.
