About Me
Hiya! I’m Freddie, and I’m a 5-year-old basset boy with a big personality. I love to eat, but I am learning to be more polite when offered food or treats. I know now that I don’t have to worry about missing a meal.
I love the sound of my own voice, so you will know I’m around. I’m a good boy – I even like baths! And my red squeak toy is my favorite! I love to hang around with my foster mom, and I am getting used to other dogs but I’m not ready to play just yet.
At bedtime, I like to sleep with my fosters and the other dogs unless it’s too hot – then I will go find a cooler spot.
I’m not a fan of thunderstorms. When I start hearing the booms, I snuggle with my foster mom, but I don’t quiver or have any other signs of anxiety.
I’m being treated for those nasty heartworms, but once I am medically cleared, I am pretty sure I’ve found my forever home! Did you know that fosters have first right of adoption if they like? So if you’rethinking about adopting a rescue basset, contact CBHR to learn more about fostering!
