About Me
*Frank has been adopted!*
Howdy, folks! My name’s Frank, and this is my second rodeo with CBHR. I was adopted around the end of last year, but a change in circumstances meant my adoptive dad could no longer give me the full attention I need. He reluctantly asked the rescue to take me in again. I’m a youngish guy, a little under 5 years old, and I am super friendly.
I have a lot of energy, so I would really love to find an active family that takes me on outings with them and lets me run and play a lot. Exercise is my jam! I like other dogs and cats and would love to be part of a pack.
I am a sweet and cuddly guy who doesn’t like to be crated for long periods of time or left alone. My ideal home would be with someone who works from home or is home a lot and can spend time with me. I’m fully housetrained, but I can be a little mischievous if left to my own devices. For some reason, I have an affinity for chewing on hats and pens, so Foster Mom recommends having lots of toys and chewies to keep me entertained.
I adore walks but can be strong on a leash, and I sometimes break into a sprint when I get really excited. I could benefit from some obedience training, because I don’t always understand or follow verbal commands. That could also help me learn when it’s time to settle down and chill.
But hey, those are minor quirks compared to the love I would bring to your home. I get along with adults, and while I haven’t been observed around children, my foster mom thinks I would be good with them.
I sure would like to meet my new forever family and get another chance at my happily ever after. Might you have a place in your heart for a sweet, fun-loving, energetic boy like me? If you think so, contact CBHR and tell them you would like to know more about me, Frank!
