Howdy, y’all! My name is Finley, and I am a sweet boy who has settled in well with my foster family’s pack. I’m 4 years old, and my foster dad says I’m a really good boy. You could say I’m darned near perfect – he doesn’t have any concerns about my behavior whatsoever.
I’m also housetrained! I am kind of picky when it comes to eating, though. Beyond that, I am great in the car, love walking on a leash and get along well with adults, cats and, of course, other dogs. I don’t have a lot of recent experience around children.
My foster family says I’m settling in so well with my new pack, they want to make me a permanent member! Boy, do I feel lucky! But you know, there are lots of other great hounds on the CBHR website. Many of them aren’t spry young guys like me, and some need a patient, loving family who can help them bring out their best basset selves, but they have so much love left to give.
