About Me

Pssst, you there. Yes, you! Are you looking for a pair of all-stars to join your home team?  Look no further – Fenway and Wrigley are the guys for you. I’m Fenway, and we are beagles, but CBHR took us in because we are so darn cute.

We might be named after ballparks in two very different cities, but we are a matched set if there ever was one. Where Wrigley goes, I follow. And vice versa. We’re a couple of young guys, not quite 4 years old, and we’re up for anything.

We are great snuggle buddies, and Foster Dad says we are perfect pups for a family that enjoys lots of activities. We love to play with toys, and our favorite game is watching our foster people pick up and put away all our toys and then we pull them back out again. Such fun!

I’m a bit more outgoing than Wrigley (if you’re looking at a photo of both of us, that’s me with the black head; Wrigley has a tan head), and I take the lead with activities. We are such good boys that our fosters are shocked we haven’t been adopted.

We hang out together, play together and snooze in our crate together. We hardy ever bark, and most of the time we are happy to cuddle with our fosters. We get the zoomies for about 20 minutes a day, and then it’s out of our system. We also love to watch TV.

Our foster parents take us and our canine foster brothers to doggie daycare, and we love it! We come home exhausted after romping and playing with the many friends we have made there. And guess what? We are cat-friendly too!

We have been diagnosed with diabetes insipdous – not like the high-sugar diabetes; this one just makes us have to pee more. But we are on inexpensive medication and it is under control!

We are housetrained and like to ride in the car. We are frightened by sudden loud noises (aren’t we all?) and sometimes bark when we are in our crates if we hear something, but we are really good dogs. We sleep soundly through the night in our kennel, though.

I have really learned to love all the attention I get from the people. And let me tell you, I especially enjoy getting pets from Foster Dad!

Our fosters feel we would do well with kids. I am happy to spend my evenings cuddling with the people. Wrigley has a mischievous streak, but he responds well to direction. He also loves to eat and will shove me away from my bowl if he gets the chance, so our fosters feed us separately so I can eat my meals in peace.

If you are looking for a fine pair of hounds to round out your roster, please contact CBHR. When you decide Fenway and Wrigley are the right dogs for you, it will be like winning the World Series! We are the sweetest!
