Hello, basset fans! I am Etta James, and I’m a sweet girl just about a year old. My foster mom says I’m a sweet girl who knows no strangers. I get along with everyone, including the other doggie in the house.
As you might expect from a hound still in puppyhood, have a lot of energy and love to play. I am working on my canine manners because I haven’t had a lot of instruction in that area. My house training is under way, and I tend to cry when I’m crated until I settle down.
I have a very high energy level and could use some obedience training. I also pull a little on the leash, but everything is so interesting I just want to go see it!
I’m listed as adoption pending, so check back to see if I become another CBHR Happy Hound! Meanwhile, check out the other fine bassets, especially our senior dogs who just want someone to love for the time they have left.
