About Me
*Ellie Mae has been adopted!*
Howdy, y’all! My name is Ellie Mae, and I’m a sweet girl who was lucky to find a prospective adopter right away! I’m a 10-month-old houndie with a ton of puppy energy and an abundance of cuteness.
I’m coming right along with my potty training and am working on my household manners, but all in all, I’m mighty fine just as I am! I love to be outside with my foster mom, and I was very well-behaved when Foster Mom was helping a neighbor with some things. I slept peacefully on the bed she brought for me.
As a typical puppy, I’m curious about everything and want to get my nose into all of it. I’m great in the car and love people, although I might be a little too rambunctious for the younger kiddos.
I am in a home with no dogs and no cats, so I’m not sure how I would do with other pets.
Anyhow, if you are interested in finding a basset hound, check out CBHR’s website. Unfortunately, more and more dogs are coming in every week So far this year, CBHR has adopted out more than five dozen basset hounds, but dogs left at shelters, dumped or turned into CBHR by owners who can no longer care for them mean we always have a full house.
Some of us need more patience and understanding than others, but we all need love. These volunteers help us move away from whatever past problems we had so that we can be loved by a forever family.
Take a look and contact CBHR if you see a possible match. Tell them Ellie Mae sent you!
