Hello there, humans! My name is Edwin, and I came to CBHR with my son Winston. We are not bonded, though, so we can be adopted separately.
About me: I’m nearly 7 years old, and my foster mom says I am lovable and sweet. I also get along well with other dogs. However, I must be in a no-cats household – I am not cat friendly. I also will need a securely fenced yard, because I’ve become a bit of an escape artist.
I like to walk on the leash and am good in crowds. I also love to ride in the car, but it’s best to crate me or put me in a seat restraint because I would rather be in your lap. One of my most endearing traits is that I love to be around clothes that smell like my foster family.
I’m have been working on housetraining and was not neutered when Winston and I arrived at CBHR. I have also been treated for those nasty heartworms. I also have separatation anxiety and will get into things if I’m left alone.
I get along with people and we do well in crowds – although I bark when food is around and can be pushy about eating other dogs’ food, so I’m fed separately.
I can’t wait to meet my forever family – Winston is already adoption pending. CBHR will talk to you about all of my needs to make sure I get off to a great start. If you have a loving heart and room for a soon-to-be senior hound , contact CBHR and ask for Edwin – that’s me!
