*Duncan has been adopted!*
Hello! They call me Duncan, and I’m a young guy who loves to play. I’m kinda new around here, but already I am making an impression on my foster dad. He is proud of how well I have adjusted and says I have a wonderful disposition.
I also know the word “sit,” and Foster Dad is working with me to learn other commands. I’m a good and polite eater, and when offered a treat, I take it oh, so gently. I’m still learning about housetraining, but I’m a smart boy and I am sure I’ll catch on soon.
I like to go for walks and walk like a gentleman on my leash. I haven’t tugged at it yet. I get along great with the other dogs in the house, including one who gets a little testy about sharing her toys. I haven’t had much observable experience around kids or cats, but I love adult humans.
Foster Dad says I’m delightful to have around and calls me a “good lad.” I’m currently adoption pending, but please take a look at the other hounds on this website. Some of them have been waiting a good while for their forever homes, and they would love to meet you. Contact CBHR and tell them you’d like to learn more about one or more of my fellow bassets.
