Dempsey

I am Dipsy – short for Dempsey! I am a big, beautiful, laid back, talkative, sweet hound who loves people.

My family got rid of me after nearly nine years. Ugh. Took a few weeks, but I am well adjusted now. I am serious about my sleep and am slowly getting into shape. I love my daily walk. I also love being in the middle of the kitchen or always in your way. My bark is one of a kind. I do well with other dogs.  I am reliably house trained and doggie door savvy.  I like to sleep on a doggie bed in the bedroom.

I can be a bit shy at first. I have some minor separation anxiety, but I settle down quickly. I can be a “flight risk” and bolt out of the door, so I need someone who will always be careful.
