Greetings! I’m a mature lady named Daisy, and while I may not be a spring chicken, I have all the qualities needed to be a wonderful companion for the right family. Foster Mom describes me as a very happy and compliant dog – it’s her way of saying I have great manners.
I’m 12 years old, but don’t think I’m a lazy old girl. I have a lot of energy for a basset my age – those young-’uns have nothing on me! I’m an early riser and like to eat first thing. But I’m also great in my crate and will even go in there by myself sometimes if the door is open.
My manners extend to walkies – I am very polite on the leash. I also don’t bark much. So far, my foster mom hasn’t observed any negative traits, and she thinks I will make someone a great dog. I’m very loving, and most of the time I’m pretty mellow.
I haven’t had much recent experience around other dogs or cats, but Foster Mom thinks I would do well based on my wonderful household manners. I’m housetrained and am very good with adults and children.
