Howdy, y’all! They call me Copper Guy, and I’m a high-energy, 2-year-old houndie who has bonded quickly with the other dog in this house. I’m great with adults, but don’t have a lot of experience with the kiddos. My energy level probably makes me more suitable for a home with older kids or adults-only.
As you can see, I’m already adoption pending, but let me tell you some more about me. I love to ride in the car, but I whine when the car is sitting still – I need to be on the move! I also love walks and I am good on a leash.
I don’t like being left alone and will whine if my dog buddy and people aren’t with me. I adore attention and am great in crowds – the more the merrier!
I do tend to beg for food. When I smell something I like, I want a bite, too! I’m housebroken and am generally a good boy.
Keep checking back to see if I’ve found my forever home, and while you’re here, look around at the other bassets who are available for adoption or are on hold. We all have our own unique personalities, and we all want a family to love.
