About Me
*Copper and Blu have been adopted!*
Well hi and howdy! I’m Copper, named for my beautiful red and white markings, and my buddy Blu and I are fairly new to CBHR. But I’m telling you, we love being part of this family. We are both about 6 years old and generally laid back. We just adore people and are very sweet.
I’m a little more chill than Blu – he gets the zoomies after we are in our crate for a while. Every once in a while, I like to let my ears down and run through the house too, just to burn off some energy. We love nothing more than cuddling with the people, and we like to say hello to everyone we meet. We are good with most people, although we don’t have a lot of experience around the tiniest humans. We also love other dogs and we play with our feline foster sibling.
Both of us could stand to lose a few pounds – we love to eat – but we are gentlemen when we are fed alongside the other dogs. We are learning house manners and how to walk nicely on a leash, and I am working on my housetraining. I’m mostly there and getting better every day.
Sometimes we get so excited to see people that we jump on them, but our foster is working with us on the proper way to introduce ourselves. We enjoy riding in the car, but one of us tends to get carsick – our foster think’s it’s Blu. Me? I’m just a happy passenger.
We are on hold while we get a few medical things out of the way, but we can’t wait to meet our new forever family! We’re bonded, so we are a package deal – it’s twice the fun!
