About Me
Hello, basset fans! My name is Cloey, and I’m a sweet older lady, about 12 years old, but don’t let my age fool you. I have plenty of energy and I love to play.
I get along great with the other dogs in my CBHR foster home, and my foster family says I am an excellent houseguest. They believe I would be a great companion for an older couple or individual.
I am working on a few bad habits, like barking whenever I want something and eating inappropriate yard surprises, and I am working to be more reliably housetrained – but I let my fosters know when I need to go, so I’m making progress.
I like to ride in the car and am great when I’m your copilot, I’m great on a leash, and I love humans big and small, although I don’t have experience around infants and toddlers. I do have difficulty navigating stairs because of my arthritis and low-rider build, so I would do best in a home with few or no steps.
I’m being treated for some medical issues and I’m waiting to get my teeth cleaned, so I am not quite ready to meet my forever family.
