About Me
Have you ever heard the riddle, “How many treats would a basset named Chuck, chuck if he could chuck treats?” Well, probably not but you have to admit it might help you remember my name! Now that I have introduced myself you might be interested to know a few things about me.
I have been in CBHR foster care for a few weeks and am now ready to begin finding my forever home. I am a really sweet guy but need a special home that is patient and understanding. I am a bit anxious and shy. At times I can be protective of the people I love, but everything is better because I have some prescribed anti-anxiety medications. How many of us aren’t? I like being close to my foster parents and they think I am very capable of adjusting to a patient forever family. I will be a better fit in a family with older kids. My current neighborhood has a lot of dogs, kids, and adults who I have enjoyed meeting. It’s just that I am a bit socially inexperienced and need to be gently introduced to new situations. I especially need someone to teach me how to play!
My foster family and the CBHR have given me a great start to reach my potential and show my abundant capacity to be a loving and dedicated addition to someone’s family. Could it be yours? Maybe the riddle should be, “How many people could Chuck love if he had a great forever home?”
