Hi, everybody! My name is Brisket, and I’m excited to say that I got adopted pretty fast, thanks to the wonderful volunteers of Carolina Basset Hound Rescue. I’m so glad I found a forever home, because my previous owner had to give me up after her other dog didn’t get along with me. 

I joined my foster family at CBHR, and they fell madly in love with me. I came into rescue a little on the chunky side (hence my beefy name), but I will be getting a diet of healthy food and exercise, so I’ll work those extra love handles off in no time. 

Please keep checking CBHR’s pages, because there have been a lot of bassets coming into our rescue in the past several months who are also searching for their forever family. And our senior hounds would also like someone to love them – because they have a lot of love to give back! Brisket out!
