About Me

Ah, hello there! It’s been a bit busy around here! Pardon me, I should introduce myself: My name is Bonnie, and I just got a litter of puppies out of the house. Now I’m ready for some metime and working on finding my perfect forever family.

My foster mom says I’m very sweet, and I dearly love attention – something I missed while I was raising my brood of 7 (sadly, my eighth pup died shortly after birth). Now I’m just getting some medical stuff out of the way and soon I will be ready for my forever home.

Now that I have my freedom back, I have become very playful, and I like romping with the other dogs in my foster home. We’re not sure how I would do around cats, but CBHR will make sure that I’m cat-tested if a potential adopter has feline dependents.

I let the people know when I need to go out, and I am generally a well-behaved girl who loves being around people. I’m good in the car and walk well on a leash.

I’ve had some inquiries from interested adopters, but keep checking back on me. My status will be updated when I am ready for adoption.

By the way, did you notice all the other hounds on this website? A lot of them will soon be available also. Maybe one of them will be your perfect match.

Contact CBHR to learn more. You can also inquire about fostering or helping our bassets through your contributions. CBHR is a 100 percent volunteer organization, so all of the money we collect from generous people like you goes toward the care of our hounds.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, it’s time for me to get some pets and scratches from my fosters. This is Bonnie, wishing you a pleasant day.
