About Me
Howdy, pals! My name is Bentley, and this isn’t my first rodeo. I am a CBHR veteran. My adoptive family returned me because of a skin condition that is now being well controlled by medication.
My foster mom has done a great job with my care, and she determined that I need to be an only pet – no other dogs or cats – and I am adhering to a special diet to help control my skin problem. Right now I am on a salmon-and-oatmeal diet and I will need a high-quality food to keep my skin healthy.
My likes include naps, stuffed animals and my rope toys. I am a good boy and would fit right into a patient family, with or without kids. I am even chill during my nail trims! My dislikes include loud noises – they scare me, and I want to go inside immediately when I hear gunshots or boomies.
I am also very excited because CBHR has matched me to a family, and I hope to be going to my forever home very soon!
Meanwhile, take a look at our other adoptable hounds. If they are on hold or available, it means they just haven’t found their perfect match yet, but CBHR keeps looking. And if you’re inclined to help a worthy organization, consider opportunities to foster, volunteer or donate. We are a 100 percent volunteer organization, so all of the money goes toward the care of us basset hounds.
You’ll feel good having helped a basset hound find their forever family! Contact CBHR for details. I’m Bentley, signing out!
