About Me
*Bentley has been adopted!*
I’m a handsome 8-year-old boy named Bentley, and the couch potato life is for me. I’m generally a sweet guy who prefers to hang out on the couch or be a lap dog.
I will need a very special home with no children and a forever family who can remind me that I am not the boss and will use positive reinforcement. I’ve been a work in progress for a long time now. I had alpha dog tendencies, but the great fosters at CBHR have been working with me. My foster dad says I’m well worth the effort!
I had some bite moments earlier in my CBHR tenure, but my current foster dad has been giving me positive reinforcement and withholds some privileges when I get out of line. He says I have made amazing progress in a very short time! Once I growled at him when he tried to move me, but I didn’t snap.
My forever home needs a dog buddy for me to play with. In my first home, I even got along and snuggled with the cat!
I love being outside and going on walks, as well as the cushy indoor life. I’m reliably housetrained and use a slow down bowl for my food. I don’t use a crate, and I tend to be a well-behaved free-range house dog.
I am living proof that even houndies with some behavioral issues can be reformed. I would sure love to start hearing from possible forever families.
If you think you might have room in your heart and home for a handsome boy like me, contact CBHR. They can give you all the information you need to decide whether I am the right hound for you.
