My name is Bella, and as you can see, I am as beautiful as my name! I’m a super-sweet senior girl about 9 years old, and I love absolutely everyone I meet.
I’m great in the car and walk pretty well on a leash. I get along great with all adults. I don’t have much experience with the younger humans, but I am basically just one friendly hound.
I’m housetrained but still trying to figure out this doggie door thing, and I love to use my basset voice to bark at other dogs, the mail carrier and sirens, among other things. I get along great with the other dog in the house, but I don’t know much about those critters they call cats.
Although I’m fairly new to CBHR, I have found my forever home. Some of my CBHR hound pals have been waiting a lot longer to find someone to love them. Won’t you take a minute to look around and see if there are some other dogs here who might tug at your heartstrings?
Also, if you have a desire to help in other ways, we sure could use some additional foster parents, especially some that don’t mind taking in a bonded basset pair. We are getting a lot more of those lately.
And our medical expenses aren’t cheap. CBHR is an all-volunteer organization, and the vast majority of our donations come from kind individuals who contribute what they can to help out. This organization has saved a whole lot of dogs over the past quarter century, and we are grateful to all who have donated their time, money and/or love to help us houndies find our best fit.
