Hi there! I’m Bella, and I was one of 12 bassets who came to CBHR after our owner could no longer care for us. I’m a gentle girl, about 5 years old – loving and a little subdued.
I like sitting in my foster person’s lap, and I get along well with people, other dogs and my foster family’s cat. I’ve been living an outdoor life, so I’m still getting acclimated to this good life indoors – my foster dad says I’m still learning how to be a basset, LOL.
I sleep alone in my little part of the home, and I am making good progress with housetraining and other things that can help me be my best basset self.
I’m a little nervous coming downstairs, but I am learning. I’m not quite ready for my forever home yet, but if you are interested in a nice houndie, I just might be your girl. Contact CBHR and ask for me, Bella!
